PAHAL (Promoting Agriculture, Health and Alternative Livelihoods) program is a five-year USAID initiative designed to achieve food security among vulnerable populations in 14 districts of Mid and Far Western Nepal. It is a Food for Peace (FFP) Development Food Assistance Project (DFAP) within the USAID/Nepal’s Community Resilience Program. PAHAL aims to build the resilient community enhancing their capacities in various sectors including Agriculture, Disaster Risk Reduction, Natural Resource Management, Financial Services, Alternative Livelihoods, WASH and Nutrition with Gender Equity and Social Inclusion and Governance as the cross-cutting sectors..
